YMCA Indoor Climbing Wall – Climbing walls are a great way for older children and teens to release a lot of energy and get exercise as well. The YMCA has 266 square meters of climbing surface to enjoy. All of the YMCA staff is experienced in climbing and they are available to teach even beginning climbers the basics necessary in both climbing and rope work.
Their skills can help advanced climbers achieve new techniques as well. There are many programs that the children will have access to including children’s and youth training groups, climbing competitions, Climbing Fun Day which is for ages 6 and up and they even offer private days.
They also offer the opportunity to have climbing birthday parties that include invitation cards, cake and snacks for all the birthday attendees, a giant birthday card and climbing fun. The Rink at Elements – What better cool weather activity than ice skating? This wonderful ice skating facility caters to beginners by placing cute model penguins on the ice that scoot around offering the unsteady skaters something to hold onto. There are also skilled instructors that are available for lessons as well in both ice skating and hockey.
The cost of admission varies depending on the day and is charged using an Octopus Card that charges by the minute. The pay as you skate method is popular with the patrons of the rink as a way to pay for only the time they are skating. Admission is $20 per person and includes a pair of ice skates.

PLAY Indoor Sports Zone – This is the ultimate in indoor sports activities for children of all ages. It is truly a sports enthusiast’s playland. Included in PLAY! Are 2 indoor ski and snowboard slopes, baseball and softball batting cages, a multi-sport simulator that can simulate golf, hockey, football, basketball, and baseball that uses real gear and balls. Participants can practice or play many different sports.
